Located in Covas, Vila Verde, will be an intervention of recovery of a number of mills powered by water on the fringe of the Natural Park Peneda Geres, which aims to recover the assets, according to its previous use, to allow visits pedagogical interpretation. It is intended to recover the remaining mills in hydroelectric power production units, maintaining the original character of the buildings that will be developed simultaneously to provide support to tourism. The buildings that served as support to the mills will be recovered and expanded in order to make way for tourist accommodations nature and shop local products, thus complementing the offer of services of the company, levering synergies between all areas of business, thereby maximizing the cash flows of the project. The aim is also to intervene in the outdoor areas of the property, benefiting the landscaping without introducing foreign elements to the natural landscape of the region.
Covas area is well located, being close to Vila Verde, Braga, Ponte da Barca, Arcos de Valdevez, Ponte de Lima, etc. It would be a fantastic place for the promotion of the region as well as providing a few days rest because of the characteristics that space provides (waterfalls, the Vade river, vegetation and above all privacy).
